Out of My Comfort Zone: Portrait Photography for Women Over 40

So I did something totally out of my comfort zone.

In 2022, after I got back from my visit to India, I was one of forty women who took part in Vongue Art Photography's 40 Over 40 portrait photography campaign.

This initiative focuses on highlighting stories of aging, overcoming challenges, and celebrating the achievements of women over 40! Not only did I get to share a part of my story, I was also photographed by their team.

The goal of this project is to help break the stigma around aging, empower the women who participate, and inspire those who follow along.

In addition to being pampered on the day of the shoot and getting beautiful portraits of yourself, you also get featured in a magazine showcasing the stories and portraits of women over 40!

It truly was a great experience. I felt so comfortable and I especially loved the fact that I could wear my own clothes, feel at ease and show my own style.
